No. This is a theoretical study course which, through a unique method of dynamic lectures imparts information, knowledge and understanding in topics on the laws of nature and principles of natural hygiene which stem from these laws. The meetings are group meetings which are conducted like lectures. There is no active participation of the participants during the meeting.
The course is not a treatment. The Aidlin Institute does not teach, does not regulate and is not responsible for the application of the knowledge that the participants learn in the course. Each participant decides for himself individually, at his own discretion and under his responsibility, to what extent to apply the knowledge imparted in the course.
The course is composed of seven meetings, once a week on a set day, with each meeting lasting three hours. There is a short break during the lecture.

There is no public weighing during the course. Each participant carries out and applies the material learnt independently and checks his progress at home.
Absolutely not - the food suggested in the menu is basic food that exists in every home. Likewise there is no need to bother preparing special food.
No. The various diet methods sold to the public today are built on a similar principle. They relate to the person as "an oven" for burning calories, and not as a thinking individual. According to this principle, in order to lose weight it is necessary to put in less and put out more. This principle is absurd because a person is definitely not "an oven". The problem of weight gain cannot be solved permanently in this way, because the problem is not in the body but in the head.
At the same time as teaching the course content we give a food menu and directions for its use. The menu is for all the participants and is not adapted individually. The menu has three degrees of difficulty. Each participant chooses for himself the degree of difficulty and receives instructions every week how to act.
Of course. At the end of each meeting Dr. Aidlin answers all the participants' individual questions. In addition, participants during the course, can contact the office by phone: (347) 525 3311, or by e-mail and we will be happy to answer.
The course is not a treatment. In any event the participant who chooses to apply the rules learnt in the course should remain in contact with his personal physician. Any participant who takes medication should continue taking the medication. If the participant's health improves as a result of applying the principles learnt in the course, he should not discontinue the medication until receiving the physician's approval.
Dr. Yakov Aidlin completed his medical studies in Russia in 1982, specializing in psychotherapy. After several years' work in the field, in 1986 he was appointed to district physician and served as the head of psychiatry and psychotherapy.
At the same time he established a private clinic, the first of its kind, that dealt with a unique method of curing addictions, stuttering, psychosomatic disorders and neuroses. In 1990 he immigrated to Israel, and based on his extensive experience in the field of curing addictions, continued to develop a health theory and also a special method unique to curing food addictions. Dr. Aidlin's method is based on applied psychology, general knowledge in medicine, practical fundamentals of Far Eastern theories and personal experience. Dr. Aidlin gives courses on "The Theory of Health" at his offices at the Aidlin Institute in Brooklyn NY.

For everyone, except for:
The weight loss process is individual and depends on the level of excess weight and the application of the rules that are learned. The success rate of the course is particularly high, around 90%. From a test that we conducted, 100 people who participated in the course managed to lose together 2088 lbs. - an average of 21 lbs. per person.
In order for a person to succeed and control the ideal and desirable weight, together with the will he also needs practical tools for the body and the head. Dr. Aidlin's health method allows each participant to acquire a box of tools which will allow him to function independently and rationally with understanding and without reliance on others. Using these tools he can build for himself a menu of correct and healthful nutrition, he will feel energetic and will be able to continue operating out of the course framework. For those who are interested, an advanced course is offered.
