How does it work?
The Aidlin Institute began in 1994 in Jerusalem when Dr. Yakov Aidlin began offering a 7-week courses of dynamic lectures to people who wanted to take control of their lives,
and particularly over their eating habits. Soon, lectures and support groups were added. Popular demand led to new branches in Tel Aviv and Haifa.
By 2009, more than 20,000 people have taken his course, and 90% of them have lost weight and kept it off for at least 5 years.
The Aidlin Institute is not a clinic or a slimming workshop; it is an educational program that combines widely accepted nutritional and psychological scholarship to help people understand
The various diet methods tend to treat weight gain as a physical problem which must be treated symptomatically. We at the Aidlin Institute maintain that weight gain, though introduced through the mouth, stems first of all from the head.
Thus in order to lose weight we must begin with the head. Losing weight according to our theory is not a goal but rather a means which allows the person to solve the problem once and for all and in fact become an architect who builds the body and takes responsibility for his life, without dependence on others. During the unique course of dynamic lectures we impart knowledge and understanding of different and varied topics: The basic course comprises seven group meetings, during which the
participants undergo an experiential marathon and learn:
And most important of all - the participants acquire tools to overcome the daily routine through personal experience.
We hold acquaintance meetings before the course starts, in which Dr. Aidlin explains his method. These meetings are open to the public, with no charge or obligation.
